Our story!

For several years now I have had the urge to travel which has been a dream of mine before marriage and children. My husband was never keen on the idea until one afternoon in 2016 he said, "let's do this!" The next day I began to sell, donate and give away items from my home. He was a bit shocked when he got home from work. I immediately called a realtor and our home sold within 24 hours for more than we were asking. I had sold, donated and given away EVERYTHING so that the day we moved we didn't even need a truck. We were able to drive away with everything we had left in both our vehicles. We moved to a smaller place directly across from the beach to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets for the following year before taking off to travel full time!

Celebrating Christmas in Spain 🇪🇸 Vlog #110

This is our first year away from our family for the holidays and in another country. We wanted to see Christmas in Europe and share the holidays with my mom who lives in Spain. We had quite a celebration as you will see in the video. What a feast of foods we had for 3 days. It will definitely be a memory we will remember forever. It was a very special time!

We missed our family and especially our grandkids so we are looking forward to returning home. We always miss them when we are away so that wasn’t anything new. Our youngest daughter called us nearly every night during Christmas week so we knew she was struggling with our absence. She has been our main cheerleader in life in supporting us with our travels. She never makes us feel guilty for being away even when we can see she would rather us be near her, always!

Having my mom and my family from Spain here made Christmas so special for me. I don’t believe being away from our own kids and grandkids would have been doable without my extended family here. I am thrilled for the memories made in Spain with family!!!
